As a Pilates instructor and former dancer I never thought I would gain as much weight as I did during my pregnancy - 49 pounds! Standing at only 5'1" that was nearly half my starting weight.
While my baby is worth every ounce, I needed to find an inspirational way to help remove the extra weight. Xtend was a guiding light! With Xtend, I lost my baby weight and redefined my body as I knew it.
Today I am a Master Instructor with Xtend and love motivating others to feel as enthusiastic as I did when Andrea Rogers entered my life!

I first studied Pilates in LA in 1978, but it wasn't until I started with Xtend that I saw an immediate difference in my body. I'm amazed because I only attend not less than twice weekly, but see inches melted away from my waist and hips, my butt is lifted and my abs (my least favorite part to work out) are more toned. I now have to get in the mode to rest my arms on my desk instead of my stomach. Xtend taught me to master my muscles once again and never to waste a stretch. She promised that not only would the weight come off, but that my tummy and everything else would be even better than before my pregnancy. She was absolutely right. I began Xtend in 2006. At age 71, I can honestly say that the classes changed my physical appearance, my energy level, and attitude toward aging. I have lost inches in my hips, thighs, and waist, and toned my muscles. I look better feel better than I did ten years ago, and have been told by friends and relatives that I could get away with shaving years off my age and be believed.
I look forward to class and savor every minute. Yes, the classes are strenuous, but afterward, I feel that every muscle group in my body has been through a thorough exercise program. I started Xtend when I was pregnant with my third child. I was doing traditional Plates, but asked my studio owner what classes would be better for me as my pregnancy advanced. She suggested Xtend since a lot of the work is done standing (a la barre). I took a class and was hooked! It's a total body workout.

Prior to having my son, I was going to the gym 4-5 days per week doing typical cardio and weights regime. Going to the gym felt like a chore and I absolutely dreaded it. Dear Andrea,
What have you done with my cellulite?? Never mind, I don’t want it back. Just above my knees, on the inside of the legs had awful cellulite. I haven’t worn a bathing suit or shorts in two years. A few days ago, getting out of my bath, I looked in the mirror and could not find the cellulite I once had. So…I visited two other mirrors in my house - very little cellulite. So…I went shopping and checked out the dressing room mirrors in Bloomingdale’s…okay, maybe I’ll find the cellulite in Saks’ mirrors. Well, I’ve searched everywhere and boy has it diminished. I gave up on my legs after a Plastic Surgeon told me nothing could be done. Well, I guess he doesn’t know about “you” and “Xtend” and after only about 20 classes!!! Can’t wait to see what 20 more classes will do for the rest of me. Andrea, thank you for your professionalism, motivation, caring about all of us, and looking so darn good it inspires me to keep going.
